Vase Kinoko
Anne Drew Maury’s works are a crossover of aesthetics nutured over years of passion and curisity for the Arts & travels. Playing with boundaries of architectural and graphic shapes, inspired by her passion for Brutalism & CCCP architecture, or constructivist art, she creates movements & lines that visually appeal through games of lines & shadows.
Her love for Japanese culture has a direct impact: links, a dark moody palette & the importance of movement for the flowers display, always minimalist. As a French woman, passionate about Heritage & Antiques, she also enjoys playing with classical forms, Art Deco graphic lines, and details inspired from golden age of Europeean crafts.
Above all, ceramics are for her a playground with no rules, where she loves to see opposite styles collide to create one of a kind pieces, and a new way of pushing aesthetics in ceramics.
